Valentine's Day is a very busy time for a florist and it's designers. To make sure that your order is filled properly and delivered please take note of a few things mentioned below to assure there will be no problem with your order. We will also be delivering on Saturday and Sunday the 12th and 13th
1.) If at all possible please choose your gift from the Valentine's Tab under Occasion. These floral gifts are the one's we are making sure we have all the flowers to create. It is impossible to have all flowers available for all the arrangements on our site. You may want to call us direct if you find another floral design under another occasion tab so we can check and see if we have the flowers available. If you choose another design and have not called ahead to make sure the flowers are available, than we will substitute flowers where needed.
2.) Flowers cannot be delivered to a public school to Students. They can be delivered to Teachers and other employees. You may want to call the school first to make sure the school will accept.
3.) Students at UVA Dorms cannot be delivered to directly! The floral arrangement will be delivered to the mail room and the student contacted by email and phone to come and pick up from the mailroom. This is policy of the UVA!!!! So in the special instructions area of the order please put their email and telephone number if you have one. We will also try and call the student to make sure they know there is a delivery in the mailroom to pick up. The Flower Shop is in no way responsible for a student deciding not to pick up their gift for a couple of days.
4.) Every delivery is attempted once for the delivery fee paid. If you want the delivery taken back there will be another delivery fee charged. So we ask that you please know where the individual is located for the day. Please give us their mobile phone number if you have one. If we are delivering to the home and there is no one there. Please indicate in the special instructions area if you would like the arrangement left on the door step. Again if the arrangement is brought back to the shop and delivered later there will be another delivery fee charged, also we cannot promise what time the delivery will get back out. If you have indicated to leave the arrangement we are not responsible for the weather or being stolen. However, we do everything possible to get it to them in the first attempt!!!!
5.) If you are placing your order at the last minute, the day of Valentines!, We cannot guarantee a time of delivery. We try our best to deliver all orders first come first served. However we do offer an express delivery for $24.99 and we have a special delivery person to handle these orders.
