Dear Mr. Cash, In early September of 2014 you sent an arrangement to Steven McKinney who was a patient in a hospital in Charlottesville. I have wanted to write to you to tell you how much pleasure those flowers brought to Steven and to everyone who saw them. Many, many questions were asked as to the source of the floral arrangement. Steven loved to garden and grew many flowers and shrubs on his property. Steven died four days after your flowers arrived and our family wished to thank you for giving Steven so much pleasure and enjoyment from your flowers. You are a very gifted and talented person and I know you bring much joy to many people.

 Wedding Bells! To most girls, it's the sound of their dreams coming true. The sound of the biggest, best, most anticipated day of their lives. But, for many (including us), that ringing quickly turns into a migraine of caterers, florists, venues, and a seemingly endless list of vendors you have to interrogate and weed your way through to make sure your day ends up just the way you always dreamt. We had visited what seemed like every florist in Charlottesville and there were a few (more like 1 or 2) that we were keeping on our list of potential winners, while all the others had no clue what we were going for. We were about to settle for one of our average contenders, when we tried one more person. Upon walking into Randall's shop, it was like walking into the word "finally". When Randall introduced himself and started talking to us, we knew immediately that this was our guy. His friendly disposition and love of his craft made everything SO easy, and for lack of a better description, ...how it should be. We were short on time, short on money, and to top it all off...short on a vision. Randall took all three circumstances and ran with them. Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning, our price was HALF that of any other florist we spoke with, and he went above and beyond making sure we were completely happy. He EVEN let us borrow some props from his store for our entrance at NO cost! Find someone this generous, who cares this much about what they do and I'll be completely blown away. As I write this, I am finding it very hard to come anywhere close to accurately conveying how amazing this man is as a person in general. There really are no words for how well we were treated throughout our event. The only other thing I can think to mention is that we are still friends with him MONTHS after our wedding day. Bottom line: If you find yourself in need of a florist and have the option of using Randall, consider your arrangements and yourself to be in some of the best hands in the business. Recently visited Charlottesville and needed a nice, affordable arrangement ~~quick. Thanks Randall and Will for helping me with my last minute decision. I was taken care of from the moment I called through delivery. Thanks again and I will definitely call upon you guys again.

My little cuz just had a beautiful arragement delivered by the Flower Shop! They completely surprised her at work and brightened up her day.  And by the way, they were sent by me :) She has been going through a bit of a rough breakup, so I did what a big cuz does. Hopefully next time I will be sending her some more beautiful flowers from the Flower Shop for a happier occasion!

I highly recommend these guys! I've bought many arrangements from The Flower Shop in Charlottesville and they are the best! Why? 1. The service is excellent. They are very flexible. I like to give them a price and let them come up with an arrangement (do what they do best). I've been pleased with everything they've done, and so have the recipients. They take great care in purchasing their stock which changes depending on what is in season. 2. They can put together a really nice looking arrangement at any price point. 3. The price is spot on, not over-priced - great value. These guys definitely know what they are doing. They're family owned and operated which I believe allows them to provide custom service and custom arrangements to each individuals needs. Not generic in the slightest. I can't say enough positive things about this business.

I have never written a review before so I hope this is helpful. Some people have a Family Doctor (I do too) but I also have a Family Florist. I use The Flower Shop for all of my flower needs and celebrations. I would not dream of using anyone else. Besides arrangements I have semt, I have also been fortunate to attend events that employed The Flower Shop's services...a 50th Birthday Party and 3 different weddings, a 21st Birthday Party with an Andy Warhol theme! What fun that was! All 5 of these different events were fantastic and clear in my memory. To me, when you remember what arrangements and decor looked like and what flowers and colors were used that is a sure sign of an impressive designer. How many times I have been to different celebrations and can't recall what they used to decorate the event! I know they used something, I just can't remember what. That never happens with The Flower Shop. Their designs are impressive. I look forward to the day when Randall designs my children's weddings and as odd as this may sound, he will be in charge of my funeral flowers. I would not want anyone else to design my casket spray. I am quite serious. As I said, this is my Family Florist from beginning to end. I know I will always be amazed with whatever he comes up with and with concern for my budget. With this said, I would totally recommend The Flower Shop for whatever need you have, no matter how small or large. And I hope you will find the advantage of having a Famiiy Florist as I have. A phone call away and my last minute gifts are taken care of in such away that I am proud to send it or A dinner party centerpiece or a beautiful Christmas doorway decorated with swags and wreath. All I have to do is tell him what I need and it is done. And done better than I could have imagined. I am very grateful I found The Flower Shop. LM

Wonderful job guys!!! The flowers in the arrangement were beautiful and done very nicely. You are my florist of choice and I would recommend anyone to use this florist for anything they may need. They also do great Wine and gourmet baskets also. The one I got a couple of weeks ago from there was awsome! Keep up the good work...Charlottesville needed a great florist.

Great Florist!!! Went in to grab something for the wife and had no idea what I was wanting or looking all I knew was I didn't want roses. After talking with the guy that works there he was able to bring me up the most wonderful bouquet of flowers I have seen. All I can say was my wife was thrilled. I'll definitely be returning in the future for more.

I found this Florist after moving here from NY and the florist is awesome! I like the idea of being able to buy my own flowers and taking home and design myself. They had a great selection of flowers to do this with and even took the time to special order me some Tropical flowers I was looking for. Also if you are looking for a florist to design flowers upscale this is the florist I would go to.

I was looking for a local Charlottesville florist to handle some funeral flower arrangements for me. I decided to call your florist after being highly recommended by a local Funeral Home there. I am very glad I did!!! I had three flower arrangements done by this Florist. One that was a Graveside Basket, a Standing Spray and The Casket Spray. The flowers used were absolutly beautiful, I have never seen Roses that color at any Florist before. The flower arrangements were really full of flowers and not so much of that greenery. They were very helpful and very artistic when it came to giving me ideas of what could be done. I am writing this review in hopes that people that are looking for Funeral flowers will perhaps use your Florist and find the same as I did. There are to many florist out there that just dont care. Thanks for making my Mothers Funeral much easier and beautiful. Julie M.All I can say is the guys at this flower shop really know what they are doing. The help I got for my girlfriend was awesome. She loved them and now we are back together. I will use you guys from now on. One desperate guy!It was my birthday on Saturday and I have recieved the most beautiful arrangement of Roses on Friday. The Roses are perfect this Sunday morning. What I really enjoyed about this arrangement is it was different and not something like you would see in a Grocery Store. The Roses are thick stem and the Rose heads are huge and standing straight up. The greens are different and this is not a small arrangement. Looks like something you would see in a big city! Thanks for making my birthday wonderful! Tried calling your shop but it was after hours so I will call on Monday. Thanks again!!!!!The Flower Shop is not only know for beautiful flower arrangements, but also know to do beautiful events. We had no idea that a floral designer would also have such spectacular ideas on helping to plan, design and execute our event. I am very particular, and found the designer to be very artistic and willing to LISTEN to my needs. May not be the cheapest priced in Charlottesville however after seeing the arrangement myself two days later I could not imagine ordering from another florist. reviewed 7 months agoI needed flowers for an employee who is at University of Virginia Hospital. I didn't know any florists in Charlottesville, so I found The Flower Shop by doing a web search. The name of the website assured me that they were indeed a local shop. When I called, I was plesantly surprised that the owner answered the phone himself. I told him I needed an arrangement for a male employee who was in the hospital and how much I wanted to spend. He said he would design something fitting and deliver it that same afternoon. I was very pleased with the service as well as the arrangement and the employee and his family also said the flowers were beautiful. I would absolutely use this shop again!• • •
